Summer Life Groups Are Here
The Summer Life Group semester is officially underway, and there’s still time to jump in.
At Five Lakes Church, we believe life is better when it’s lived together. Life Groups create space to build friendships, grow in your faith, pray for one another, and walk through everyday life alongside people who genuinely care. Whether you're new to Five Lakes or you've been attending for years, a Life Group is one of the best ways to get connected and find community.
Summer 2026 Life Groups for Every Season of Life
This summer's semester runs from May 31 through July 12 and includes a wide variety of groups for different ages, interests, and life stages.
You'll find opportunities to:
- Study the Bible with others
- Build friendships and community
- Grow through prayer and discussion
- Connect through shared interests and activities
- Serve and reach others in our community
- Strengthen your marriage and family
- Find encouragement during difficult seasons
This semester features everything from men's and women's Bible studies to young adult groups, business leader gatherings, outreach-focused groups, support and recovery groups, family groups, walking groups, basketball, American Sign Language, and more.
Why Life Groups Matter
We weren't created to navigate life on our own.
One of the greatest benefits of a Life Group is having people who know your name, care about what's happening in your life, and are willing to walk alongside you through both celebrations and challenges. Life Groups provide opportunities for encouragement, accountability, prayer, and meaningful relationships that help us become more like Jesus.
As Ecclesiastes reminds us:
"Two are better than one... If either of them falls down, one can help the other up."
Not Sure Where to Start?
Summer is one of the easiest times to try a Life Group. Many of our groups are intentionally short-term, making them a great opportunity to meet new people and explore what community can look like at Five Lakes.
A few highlights from this semester include:
- Women's Summer Bible Study with Childcare – Explore the life of Peter and discover how God uses imperfect people to make an eternal impact. Childcare is available for infants through kids entering 2nd grade.
- Men's Basketball Life Group – Enjoy basketball, fellowship, and discussion around Sunday's message.
- Christian Business Leader's Luncheon – Connect with other business leaders while growing in your faith and leadership.
- Go Fish – Learn practical ways to make sharing your faith a natural part of everyday life.
- Learn American Sign Language – Build relationships while learning conversational ASL in a relaxed and encouraging environment.
