Our prayer is for outreach to be a defining characteristic of our church. In Acts 1:8 Jesus says, “you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth.” We see Sylvania as our “Jerusalem,” but our outreach efforts aim at spreading God’s message and serving his purposes around the world.
At Imagine Leaders, we are mesmerized by the idea that this is not all about us, but all about Jesus. We are transfixed by His story and His heart for the world we serve. Therefore, our mission is to equip those in persecution, empower those in poverty, and encourage those in discouragement. We serve together, play together, worship together, and live life together. God sent us to change lives—so we do.
The Pregnancy Center of Greater Toledo provides free pregnancy tests and free limited ultrasounds as well as abortion information. We do not provide or refer for abortion services. At the Pregnancy Center, you can get answers and find hope.
Water for Ishmael’s mission is to partner with the local church to build a welcoming community for Toledo area internationals, to share the hope and love of Jesus Christ, and to empower internationals with skills to become successful.
LifeWise Academy is a released-time religious instruction program that allows students to receive character-based Bible education during the school day. Thanks to Ohio law, students can leave school for this program with parental permission, as long as it’s off school property and privately funded.
Young Life is a Christian ministry that reaches out to middle school, high school, and college students in all 50 of the United States and in more than 100 countries around the world. Young Life goes to kids, builds bridges of authentic friendship, and introduces them to Jesus Christ.
Helping Boys Become Men | The Program Inc. exist to provide an opportunity for boys to develop their social and life skills, leading them to deal effectively with the demands of everyday life. The Program Inc. aims to fill the gaps and improve the quality of life of each program participant. In doing so, we will not only improve their childhood, but change the course of their future concerning their careers, life choices, involvement in society and how they approach raising their own families.
