Make a Difference Month: Serving Our Community Together

What happens when hundreds of people decide to put their faith into action?

Communities are strengthened. Needs are met. Relationships are built. And people experience the love of Jesus in practical, meaningful ways.

That's what Make a Difference Month is all about.

Every July, Five Lakes Church steps beyond the walls of the church to serve throughout Sylvania and Northwest Ohio. Together, we'll partner with local schools, community organizations, and ministry partners on projects that make a tangible difference for the people who call our community home.

Some projects are big. Others are simple. But every act of service matters.

We believe Jesus didn't simply tell people they were loved. He demonstrated it. As His followers, we have the opportunity to do the same. Whether it's painting a room, cleaning up a neighborhood, organizing supplies, landscaping, or lending a helping hand, each project becomes an opportunity to reflect Christ through everyday acts of kindness.

One of the best parts of Make a Difference Month is that everyone can participate. Families serve together. Life Groups work side by side. Friends invite friends. People of all ages discover that making a difference doesn't require extraordinary abilities, only a willing heart.
