Joint Statement from Five Lakes Church and The Ability Center of Greater Toledo

Five Lakes Church and The Ability Center of Greater Toledo are pleased to share that, beginning April 13th, 2026, The Ability Center will temporarily operate its administrative offices from the Life Center on McCord Road, located at 4765 N. McCord Rd., Sylvania, Ohio.

This arrangement provides dedicated space for administrative staff during The Ability Center’s construction and transition period. The Assistance Dogs Program and Durable Medical Equipment distribution will continue operating on the Monroe Street campus and throughout construction, which is anticipated to be completed by Summer 2027.

Both organizations remain focused on their respective missions while embracing this season of collaboration. We are grateful for the partnership and the opportunity to continue serving the community without interruption during this important period of growth.

Additional logistical details will be shared directly with staff, members, and stakeholders as the transition progresses.
