Celebrating the Ordination of Betty Bassett

Today was a meaningful moment in the life of our church.

During Sunday’s service, we had the privilege of ordaining Betty Bassett, formally recognizing God’s calling on her life and affirming the ministry she has faithfully lived out among us for years. Ordination is not the start of something new as much as it is the church saying, “We see it too.” We see the fruit. We see the calling. We see God’s hand at work.

Surrounded by prayer and the laying on of hands, Betty was commissioned and blessed as we set her apart for the work God has entrusted to her. It was a powerful reminder that ministry is not a title, but a life poured out in obedience, humility, and love for others.

We are deeply grateful for Betty’s faithfulness, her heart for people, and her steady commitment to serving the Church as our Outreach Director. Today, we celebrate what God has already been doing through her, and we look ahead with joy and expectation for what’s still to come.

We invite you to watch the ordination moment below and join us in thanking God for His work in and through Pastor Betty Bassett!
