Celebrating Faith and Family at Lionheart

This month, our friends at Lionheart Children’s Academy hosted a special Family Roar event that reminded us why we love partnering with them. Parents, teachers, and kids gathered to celebrate Thanksgiving with songs, dancing, and a simple but powerful reminder of the gospel.

One Lionheart preschooler summed it up perfectly:

“Jesus washed it all away!” 

During the event, families saw an object lesson that showed how Jesus removes our sin using a heart-shaped plate, water, pepper, and dish soap. It was a hands-on moment that helped kids visualize the good news in a way they will remember.

After Roar, families stayed to enjoy pies in the lobby and spend time together. Many visited the welcome desk to revisit the gospel activity with Miss Courtney and talk through the story again with their kids. For some parents, it was their first time experiencing a Lionheart Family Roar, and the feedback was genuine and heartfelt:

“It was my first time attending a Roar event at Lionheart. I am really glad that we did. Our son is so happy here.”

We are grateful for a partnership that invests in families, points kids to Jesus, and creates everyday moments where faith becomes real. Lionheart continues to be a bright and joyful part of the Five Lakes community, and we love celebrating the impact happening right inside our building!
