Five Lakes Church Life Center
We have exciting news! Our McCord Road building is no longer for sale. Instead, it is being transformed into the Five Lakes Church Life Center, a space designed to bring people together and serve our community. At Five Lakes Church, we believe the church is more than a building. It is a place where life happens. The Life Center is designed to bring people together, foster connection, and serve our community in meaningful ways.
A Home for Ministry and Community
The Life Center is the new home for many of the events and gatherings that make Five Lakes special. From Life Groups that meet throughout the week, to weddings and funerals where we walk alongside families, to community events that bring neighbors together, this space is being created with people in mind. The existing sanctuary will be refurbished and become The Chapel, a beautiful and intimate space perfectly suited for weddings, funerals, and worship gatherings.
A Chapel Service
The Chapel will also be home to a new Five Lakes Chapel Service, anticipated to launch later this year. This will not be a “traditional vs. contemporary” format. Instead, it will be an extension of what we already do at Mitchaw each week, offered in a simpler space. The Chapel Service will be perfect for those who are looking for an intimate and meaningful place to connect with God.
Maximizing Resources, Expanding Impact
Investing in the Life Center makes room for what matters most. It creates space for more Life Groups, strengthens our outreach efforts, ensures cherished ministry events like the Super Saturday Dance for individuals with special needs continue, and provides facilities for the many local teams that use our gym. The Life Center helps us expand our impact while remaining wise stewards of our resources.

At the end of the day, the Life Center is not about walls or square footage. It is about creating space for people to grow, connect, and encounter God. We are building for today and tomorrow, with a vision to strengthen families, impact our city, and shape generations. We cannot wait to see how God uses this space for His glory and for the good of our community.
